Wheel with a View
Since Kevin had cooked our Morels before I got a picture, and my dog isn't as cute as John's, I'll just have to brag about the view from my studio yesterday afternoon! Just wish you could see the lilacs blooming in the foreground.
Sarah, where did you find the morels? I did a quick look here two days ago and not a sign of them yet. I know they've found some in Tennessee and Asheville this week; but I have not seen any yet, at least not in the places they were found last year.
Thanks Sarah, I'll have to do a more thorough searching! If you have some in your area, we should probably have some as well, if not today then in a couple of days with warmer evenings coming.
I know too, that morels like to grow where they have been fires the year before. Someone who found some in Asheville, found them in a mulch pile behind his church. Others have found them under pines trees.

June- Kevin found them in our yard. It's the first time we've ever had any here.
