Cool! When's the workshop for this stuff??
ReplyDeletethis is a great piece! very modern. like the way it's mounted, too.
ReplyDeleteYo,
ReplyDeleteI am a real modernist. This is from a series entitled "Art on a Stick, for People on the Go".
I would love to have a workshop on "Working like an Egyptian."

If we attend, will we be required to walk like an Egyptian, too?
ReplyDelete;)
The piece looks like glass, very beautiful. How is it mounted and to what type of material wood or metal and with epoxy or ?
ReplyDeleteand will the workshop include buidling pyramids?
Wow, That is the most comments ever. Guess I should make more Egyptian paste stuff.
ReplyDeleteIt is mounted on a metal rod which is screwed into a piece of solid metal from the scrap yard. I found a long motor bolt and cut the end off and then drilled and tapped the metal and screwed it in.
The "pear" just has a hole that the rod slides into and is held by gravity. No glue.
