Mossy Green cone 6 reduction

Here is a sample of Mossy Green (a.k.s Pinnell Strontium Matte) cone 6 with 3% cobalt carbonate:

20.0 Strontium Carbonate
10.0 OM-4 Ball Clay
  9.0  Silica
  1.0 Lithium Carbonate


5% Titanium Dioxide

3% Cobalt Carbonate

It was reduction fired to cone 6 by Jen Rose at Richland College in Dallas and her crew.

This is a good base for color tests and use on sculptures, (lots of bronze looking colors).
