Measuring Specific Gravity of Glazes 2

Since people were interested in the low tech approach, here is another method to measure sp. gr. (or really the thickness of the glaze slop). You just take an old film container and submerge it in a freshly stirred glaze bucket and put the lid on. That way it is totally full with no variance. Then dry it and weight it. That is your new reference number!
