Re the Purple Crystal Glaze....
Jack just finished two salt firings in NY with that same base formula but using 4% RIO instead of 5% Cobalt carb. (can also use 4% rutile). Got similar crystals but of course blue, not purple. Posting a pic on light and dark clays.
