Uncrazed on Phoenix
Does anyone know of a glaze that doesn't craze on Phoenix? A base glaze. Someone is looking and I told them Bringle Liner but thought someone else would know another......
Temmoku should work; as may Iron reds; and if they're getting crazing they can just add more silica in 5% increments till it stops; or if the crazing isn't bad, they can try to replace their regular silica with amorphous (Imsil) silica. If the glaze calls for G200 spar, they can try replacing it with Custer which has traditionally had a bit more silica.

I just figured that there is someone out there using Phoenix who has already done the work and has a glaze that works. We will see......
