Crimson Laurel Shows for August 2014
If you're interested in seeing work such as Raku, Horse Hair, Pit Fired, and Naked Raku we'll have examples by some fantastic mid-state North Carolinians tomorrow - and for the next two months. Edge Barnes, Maureen McGreggor, and Conrad Weiser are having an opening titled "Alternative Firing" from 6:00-8:30 Sat. August 2nd (that's tomorrow evening).
Also, Josh Copus,who has been firing in Australia for the past three months is also having an opening that evening (tomorrow) at the same time in the lower gallery. His show "A Response to Place" will exhibit all his new work that he made while in Australia and will express how a setting can totally influence what you create.
All four artists will be here, so if you have any questions etc. feel free to ask them. Light snacks and drinks will be provided. Again, the opening is tomorrow evening from 6:00-8:30 at the Crimson Laurel Gallery. Hope to see you there.
