This glaze is called Kitchen Sink Matte and in the color run with 0.5%chrome it kinda looks like a shino in electric on a dark body. Pinholes and all. Will post the recipe later...too tired to get up and get it.

Just finished up our glaze workshop. Great firing at Cornell studio. Excellent students! Super fun. Time! Doing it again here next weekend!!.#johnbrittpottery #johnbrittworkshops #cornellststudios #itisgreatindayton #pottery #glazes #glazedandconfused #ceramic #ceramicmaterials #colorblend #glazeworkshops #glazeworkshop #glazework #getterdone

Got a really nice group of people today at Cornell Studio Supply in Dayton Ohio for our glaze Workshop. We survived day one.#johnbrittpottery #johnbrittworkshops #cornellststudios #itisgreatindayton #pottery #glazes #glazedandconfused #ceramic #ceramicmaterials #colorblend #glazeworkshops #glazeworkshop #glazework #getterdone

As I was getting ready for my Dayton /Cornell Studio Workshop on cone 6 glaze I plotted some glazes I researched for non-crazing at one 6 on "most" bodies and noticed how much tighter they were than the Stull map. I then did the same with other "limits/targets" noticing the variations. It is interesting to see.

Got a few beauties out of the firing. I will post more later. Headed to Dayton Ohio for a Glaze Workshop at Cornell Studio. If you know of anyone who would be interested there are a few spots open this weekend.

"Family Reunion". 10 pots a day no matter what...em's the rules.

This is what my fingernails look like after almost 3 weeks not in clay and glaze. Amazing, no cracks, no torn up fingernails, no hang nails. Excetera.
