After you left, the wine was taking in John's ear and he decided to start the bonfire after all, since the wind was calm. As soon as he lite it, the wind took off and it was a blaze! It really didn't get too close to the studio but sparks and ash were flying.
Soon after it died down to a nice camp fire for the late night folks.
The moral of the story is either never leave a party early or never play with fire!
For someone who had to leave early that windy night of clay club, this image is unsettling. I demand an explanation!
