About Shakerag:
Shakerag Workshops is an adult studio art workshop program, which started in 2004, with week-long classes offered in various different media. Participants register for one class each week, and each day classes meet from 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00. Students and faculty members often work together in the studios during the late afternoons and evenings, as they choose, occasionally taking time off from their artistic endeavors for swimming or yoga. There are plenty of beautiful nature trails to explore right outside the studios and an incredible swimming hole which is just perfect for refreshing and rejuvenating before an amazing dinner and slide presentations. Enrollment is limited to allow artist instructors plenty of time for one-on-one instruction, and there is always a great mix of students with varying levels of experience.
