It's time again to join or renew your 2013 Guild membership. Membership runs
from January 1 through December 30. Memberships are not prorated.

To join or renew your membership this year, we are using an online
registration system. The information you provide will go directly to the
guild membership database insuring that your data is correct.
As you fill out your membership form, and whether you elect to pay by Paypal
or by check, please be sure to follow the instructions to the final "submit"
page. If you do not "submit" your form, your information will not be in the
database.

The Guild needs you to support the artistry of clay in our region and
hopefully you will find fellowship and inspiration as a member of the
Carolina Clay Matters Pottery Guild. Each year brings more exciting events
and the plans for 2013 are no exception.


Membership includes:
. Reduced workshop fees
. Opportunity to sell at Guild events
. Monthly e-newsletter
. Opportunities to support our Guild and serve on committees
. Meetings on pertinent topics: demos, tours
. Social activities and exposure of your work through Guild displays

Membership levels are as follows:
. Single membership $60.00
. Family -- Two or more potter family members $80.00
. Student -- Full time student in an accredited college $25.00
. Newsletter only -- Free

Our Guild was created as a participation Guild. In mid 2010 a membership
vote was taken to require members to attend 2 business meetings in order to
participate in the Pottery Festival sale. There will be an attendance
sign-up sheet at each meeting/workshop. It is your responsibility to sign
this sheet so please make sure you do so. Failure to adhere to the
conditions of the Pottery Festival Participation Policy can result in denial
of your participation in this event.

Carolina Clay Matters, Inc. Pottery Festival Participation Policy:

It shall be the policy of the Carolina Clay Matters, Inc. that any member
may participate in the bi-annual Festival/Sale as long as the following
conditions are met:

. Member shall be current on yearly dues.
. Member shall have attended two (2) meetings, within the past year,
which
are designated as qualifiers* as prescribed by the By-laws of Carolina Clay
Matters, Inc. (See CCM, Inc. Bylaws, Article III, Section 4 and Carolina
Clay Matters, Inc. Pottery Festival Guidelines)
. Members may share booth space if all participants are current on
dues and
attendance requirements. Shared booth space shall be restricted to no more
than two members per booth space.
. Pottery Festival Participants must volunteer, as needed or when
asked, to
help with the CCM Pottery Festival.

*A CCM Membership meeting, workshop or social event shall be recognized as a
"qualifier and valid for the purpose of attendance requirements when it
meets these criterions (See Carolina Clay Matters, Inc. Bylaws, Art. IV
Section 2)

. Are fully accessible to all CCM members regardless of physical
capabilities, financial status, race, color, national origin, religion,
disability, familial status, sex, sexual orientation or age
. Are pre-determined as a CCM Pottery Festival qualifier
. Where CCM, Inc. announcements are made and/or where business matters
are
conducted and conveyed to the membership by the board
