I finally figured out a use for these weeds I have seen all my life, especially growing up. We used to wrap the stem around itself and then "shoot" the head into the air. But the other day,at the studio, I saw these little fawn eating them. Never knew they were a food group.
Your view is far superior to mine, is that a squirrel too? The grannies in the old folks home across the street are singing along to Sweet Caroline, but they don't look as wonderful as the deer.
ReplyDeleteYes, that is a squirrel. Plenty of them but they don't sing!
ReplyDeleteIs it plantain herb? These are good for medical purposes. It has natural antiseptics. In old days people used it for to cover wounds with it, just pounded leave with stone so the juices could act properly.
