I'm not attending this year. I bought something from a friend on her iPhone. That's how I found out about Square. Everything is much smaller on the iPhone compared to the iPad, but it worked great.
Is it secure to do this on wi-fi at a remote location? When I spoke to a "Genius" at the apple store, she said it might not be totally secure for the customer's card info.??? But then, it defeats the whole purpose. Has anyone heard otherwise? I would love to use this as long as it doesn't leave me and the customer exposed. Thanks!
ordered this for my iPhone 3gs and can't get a card to scan to scan for the life of me. I either get a scanning failed message, or a scanned too fast message, or, a scanned too slow message. Glad I still have my other service.
I am going to get one of those and bring it with me to the potters conference. will you be there? Also have you tried it on iphone?

ReplyDeletecan you type in an amount rather than loading up images of the products?
ReplyDeleteipad is wi-fi, and some are wi-fi + 3g.
ReplyDeleteyou can enter any amount manually. entered items simply speeds the process, overall.
