Spoke too soon. There is a stainless steel porcelain pugmill built by this potter, as well as the Radcliffe type, though it seems to take several passes to get clay into workable shape. The mill has double augurs and a vacuum pump. It was a little hard to locate this mill; stick with the YouTube films; the Waterstone site shows the Ratcliffe type and the sink production. And it shows a monster car kiln loaded with sinks, cups, etc. But there are more tricks, a hat trick kiln:
The YouTube also shows a film on a remarkable top hat kiln. Amazing engineering feat. Expensive looking. Worth a look.
Where did this info come from? Can't find any info on the pugmill at Water Stone. Looks as if work is ram pressed.
